Marty's New Mask

Tom Gulitti has reported that Martin Brodeur's got a new mask design that he put on for the first time today. It's basically a MB30 replacing the Deviled J at the top. I imagine some (most?) Devils fans are thinking "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Personally, I think the MB30 looks a little cheesy. But ultimately, I really don't care if he's got Nickelback on his mask. As long as it's Martin Brodeur in the pads and in between the pipes, everything is going to be all right.

To be honest, I'm more enthused by the news that Brodeur and Patrik Elias (in Czech, for now) will be launching sites of their own in the near future. Both players are big-time Devils - and in the case of Brodeur, a legendary goaltender - and a little self-promotion isn't a bad thing. It's a way to get the player's image, profile, and accomplishments out there, and both have plenty to celebrate by having many successful seasons with New Jersey.

what's the status with Tedenby? last i heard he had his teeth knocked out in the olympics and nothing since. he wasn't on the roster, and he wasn't sent to Lowell, where is he?

Tedenby is back with HV71 in Sweden, so says their official website.

(It's also where former Devils prospect Teemu Laine is! We found him! Hooray! Now to find Anton Kadeykin and Adrian Foster's health!)

help me out...we draft him, and he stays in Sweden?...what's up with that? how does that work? when do we decide to use him?
